On the morning of October 19, 2026, APATEK was honored to welcome Mr. Khuong Duy Hiep, a representative of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Denmark, and Mr. Svend Bergmann, Product Director at IHM (Denmark), for a visit and working session at the company’s headquarters.

IHM is a Danish technology company founded in 1981, specializing in the research and development of radio communication solutions and integrated communications management and control. With more than 45 years of experience, IHM provides highly reliable technology solutions used in the maritime, public safety, search and rescue, and critical infrastructure management sectors.
During the working session, APATEK and IHM discussed the potential integration of IHM’s advanced communication solutions into the Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) systems that APATEK is deploying in Vietnam. The discussion focused on enhancing connectivity and the management and coordination of communications between maritime vessels and operations centers, thereby improving monitoring effectiveness, ensuring maritime safety, and optimizing marine traffic management.
The two parties also shared insights into artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for smart seaport and logistics management that APATEK is researching, developing, and deploying in Vietnam. The discussions explored combining IHM’s communication technologies with APATEK’s AI platform and management and monitoring systems to increase automation, optimize operating processes, and support decision-making in seaport and logistics operations.

The meeting provided an opportunity for APATEK and IHM to strengthen their relationship, exchange technological expertise, and explore avenues for cooperation suited to Vietnam’s practical needs. The presence of the representative from the Embassy of Denmark also helped promote collaboration and opened new opportunities for technology partnerships between Vietnamese and Danish businesses.
APATEK looks forward to further strengthening cooperation with international technology partners and gradually bringing advanced solutions into practical use, thereby contributing to digital transformation, improving the effectiveness of maritime traffic management, and developing a smart seaport and logistics ecosystem in Vietnam.
